There is a new version of TestComplete v15.52.2.7 which might resolve your issue.

We just moved over from v14 to the version shown above (v15.52.2.7) and this issue was the first thing we noticed. Since then we have reverted back to v14 as this stops us from testing our software. We have no plans to try to change the code to get around it, even if there is a viable workaround. Instead we would expect SmartBear to resolve this and release a new version ASAP.
