Object Spy closing application

TC Version 8.1, I am using the Object Spy to locate the properties of a window (in our Delphi application) and this action keeps causing our app to close without warning.  Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this?  I rebooted TC but the same behavior occurs...

    It magically fixed itself, actually.  We weren't ready to upgrade yet.  I think I rebooted the machine I was testing on and came back after the weekend to it working.  So, I have no idea what happened.  Another TestComplete mystery.

    Hi Morgan,



    First of all, please install the latest version of TestComplete which is 8.50 and let us know whether the issue occurs with it.

    I having the same problem and I'm using TC 8.6.  When I point the object spy to IE it closes it.  I tried to investigate more and I found out that just selecting the IE process in the object browser, it closes the IE.  This is very bad, any fix on this?
