Object Spy closing application

TC Version 8.1, I am using the Object Spy to locate the properties of a window (in our Delphi application) and this action keeps causing our app to close without warning. Any ideas how I can troubles...

It magically fixed itself, actually. We weren't ready to upgrade yet. I think I rebooted the machine I was testing on and came back after the weekend to it working. So, I have no idea what happened. Another TestComplete mystery.
