Is there a way to skip the delay while recording in Test Complete

Hello,

I recorded a test with the setText option selected.  After the recording, I see a bunch of delays inside my script.  Is there a way to disable the delay while recording?

I end up manually remove all the delays which is not the proper way to do it.  Please provide me with your recommendation for a better workaround.

Thank you so much for your help.

Under Tools -> Options -> Engines -> Recording there is a checkbox for "Real-time mode".  If that is checked, uncheck it and see if this resolves your situations.

Why automate?  I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy.  Sleep is a requirement.  So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.

Try to check these options too:

Tools -> Current Project Properties -> Playback -> Runtime section

Check delay time values there.
