Activating Licenses on Virtual Images

Hi, I would like to know if we can install and activate (floating Enterprise) licenses on a virtual image that is running under ESX/Similar environment.



The scenario is:



1. License Manager is installed on a Server

2. Have few Virtual Images launched on ESX/UCS server

3. Install TestComplete on Virtual Image (which doesn't have a physical host)

4. Activate the license on the Virtual Image by pointing to the License Manger Server.



Please let me know if the above scenario possible or is it mandatory that the license has to be activated on a physical machine that hosts the Virtual Images
