Multi-Browser Support

Question

Hi,i'd like to know if TC (for example last versione of TC) supports different browser types. In Detail tests to automate will be related to web navigations and database checks, and browsers would be:IE-Firefox-Chrome-Opera-SafariThey are well-supported? eventually which versions? because i've seen that firefox 12 is not well-supported, as Opera 11, but maybe there are some versions more compatible.Any suggestion will be appreciated :-)thx and regards,ste

Hi Stefano,IE, Firefox and Chrome are supported while Opera and Safari are not (http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/11182/). AFAIR the explanations from Support, Opera and Safari does not provide access to their internals and thus can be tested as black-box (closed) applications only.BTW, Firefox12 is supported by TestComplete8.7 but after installing the relevant patch (http://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/firefox-patches/).
