Unable to highlight this object on screen because it is not visible ?

I'm using Testcomplete v7.20; I created automation scripts using Keyword Test and facing problem for selection of object in application. I try to map object property with help of 'Select object with cursor' & 'Finder Tool'. Once i select respetive object with help of (Shift+Ctrl+A) & click on Highlight it allow me to see selected object but as soon as I close 'On Screen Action' window & again go back to same window and try to view mapped object using Highlight button it gives me message 'Unable to highlight this object on screen because it is not visible'. I also try Set Visible method as well but again result is same



Can anyone suggest how to resolve this issue ?

    Hi Brijesh,



    This can be the correct behavior if the object is a popup menu or a similar object which is supposed to be hidden when it looses focus. Could you please describe the task you're trying to accomplish in detail and clarify why you need to highlight the same object two times in a row?



    BTW, the latest version of TestComplete 7 is 7.52 and I strongly recommend that you update to this version - a number of problems were fixed in this version.

    Hi Brijesh,



    Unfortunately, it is still not entirely clear what you're trying to accomplish, what problem prevents your test from being run successfully, what the "second child node" is and what is the difference between an object which is processed correctly and the problematic "second child node" object. If you see an error message, please provide us with a screenshot showing the error message.



    As for TestComplete 7.52 download link, please login to your account on our ClientServices portal - and select TestComplete in "My Products" list - you'll be able to get a download link after that. I strongly recommend that you check whether the problem can be reproduced in TestComplete 7.52 before we continue working on it.

    Hi I am using test complete 9.0 and i am having the same problem using IE8, and Chrome, 



    Please advise on a solution as i cannot continue my web page testing all the menus are setup like this
