Testexecute not running as task

I have been using testexecute to run my overnight tests. I have the tests configured to redirect and close the remote desktop session and continue. The TestExecute test is called by Task scheduler in server 2012, the trigger, is my logon from my local machine, and that is a scheduled task to run at 3:00am. This allows my test to run in a redirected RDP session.

This has worked for an extensive period, but has suddenly stopped working for all my tests.

I cannot get testexecute to run from either a Task or a Batch file, if called from a task. (they do run if manually triggered).

On the "Slave" server,  testexecute is seen running ( no icon or activity) as an apparent "Ghost"

If I manually trigger TestExecute after a Task has called it, it starts again and you have two instances shown in Task Manager. If  you again manually start testexecute, it produces a box stating you cannot launch it again.

So why would triggering TestExecute from Task Scheduler result in this Ghost?

Thanks,

Mark
