Testcomplete not detecting the Javascript Alert on Edge

Hello Everyone,

 

Testcomplete not detecting the Javascript Alert on Edge, we are using Edge version 116.0.1938.54, previously it used to work with lower version but when I updated, the alert is not detecting with Object Spy, I even checked in Object Browser as well but only the page is visible but not the alert.

 

Usually when the alert popped up, under page("...."), there is another object with "Alert", after browser version update, unable to get that alert object.

 

Could you please check this issue and let do the needful.

    Sorry the above one is not the solution for my question.


    Now the Edge version is V117, I tested in Local PC surprisingly TestComplete detected PopUp and it worked without any issue. Then I wanted to check in remote machine, I updated the Edge version to v117 in Remote Machine but again I got the same issue, pop ups are unable to detect.

     

    TestComplete Version in Local PC : 15.55.53.7 x64

    TestComplete Version in Remote Machine : 15.52.9.7 x64 (TC-104736-Enable-SAAS-OnPrem-SLM-OCR-Server-JWT)

     

    Does the TestComplete version also matters for this pop up issue ?

    Because, previously when I tried this pop up function, the Edge Version is 114 and TestComplete version is 15.45

    Might be worth updating TestComplete on your remote machine.

     

    Do note, that v117 is not supported.
