Test Execute doesn't find object anymore + very slow with Windows Server 2025.

When i say known issue, it was more about the object detection. 

The fact that TE is slow running under Windows Server 2025 is an additional issue.  

Thanks for the tracks. For the first one, the settings are exactly the same on all environments, so this is not linked to that. Will try to put in place the second one

It seems to be the same problem.

But I totally agree with your point on Price/QuickFix. I have not updated TC for ~6 months
Every next build contains a defect that blocks our tests.

Could you link us to the posts you mentioned? I did a quick search on "Windows Server 2025" and didn't find anything to research.  Could you link us to the issues you are referring to?

...And with Windows Server 2025, the execution of the same test takes double time as on others environment. 

While looking at the forum, i can see that the issue is known since Test Execute version 15.71.

It may take opening an issue with support but here are few things to try first...

• Verify all project delay settings are the same for each environment...

🤔Hmmmm....  You could also add some windows performance monitors to analyze the test run time issue.  Object recognition issues are usually related to how TestComplete is setup to search the object tree.  There are delay settings in code as well as depth settings.  Is this the same test project on each platform?

Is this a desktop or web application that you are having issues with? I use classic web testing, and I have seen a number of issues in each minor version. These issues don't appear when using cross-platform web testing. However, saying that, Chrome always seems to be releasing versions every week, which also seems to break TC!

From past experience, it's best not to upgrade, unless it's absolutely necessary.
