But I've already raised the smartbear issue and they said they do give support for recording extension and they suggested me post here in community.

gowthamiab this plugin was created by one of the community members, and it's not supported officially indeed.

My advice is - please refer to the plugin's documentation to make sure everything is set up right - https://github.com/SmartBear/testcomplete-videorecorder-extension/blob/main/README.md
