Tabstops in log files
Hi,
is there any chance to structure log file entries using sort of a tab stop mechanism?
If tabstops are not available, is it possible to emulate them by calculation of the text width?

Are you trying to make the log itself easier to read or is this for an external report?
I'd like to enhance the readability of the log.
To have more informative value in log entries, I add context info like the caption of the button pressed or the name of the test run as an item of an ODT array.
When there is more information in an entry, tabstops would be great for structuring.
The log entries are just strings so there isn't much formatting available inside the log. We use labels like in this example to separate information:
