SSO Login Issue

We've implemented SSO and it is working great except for ONE user.

Problem:  When they try to login using their ID (abc@abc.com) they get an error saying it can't log them in, but in the message, it states a completely different ID (svcAccount@abc.com) and not the ID they used to attempt the login (abc@abc.com).

Somehow this account is cached with this users ID, somewhere.  No idea how they managed to do this... but I can't fix it.

Is there a way to delete cache, reset, or force something to correct this?

  • Your post is broad and need additional specifics like what, where, and when?

To clear cache in windows: Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager. Check both Windows Credentials and Generic Credentials to remove any entries related to svcAccount@abc.com

In browser try logging in using incognito/private browsing mode to bypass any cached sessions, and if it helps clear browser cookies and cache.

When you say "We've implemented SSO", what are you referring to? Your application, browser, SmartBear SSO?
