restarting a paused playback

i am running my execution plan on my desktop and wanted to do something with my mouse and keyboard but didn't want that to affect my execution so i clicked the pause icon on the testcomplete widget. i finished what i need to do but now how do i resume the execution? there's no play button on the widget. only a stop button. what use is it to have a pause button if all you can do is stop it anyway?

and, actually, the stop button is not even working. i'm going to have to kill testcomplete in task manager just to get out of this.
