I'm not clear as to what you mean by "in a jumbled way".  Could you put up a screenshot of what you're seeing?

    HI ,

For example : i have recorded the login and logout of an application . first recorded the login process and enter into the application and then logout. Then the data is loaded into the testcomplete. but the steps are showing like this . I am attaching the link .

    Thanks,

What it looks like, in your recording, is that you entered the user name several different times, perhaps deleting the field in between.  All the SetText method does is say to set the text of the field to a particular value based upon what it detects you typed in.  If you typed something in, deleted it, typed something again, deleted it, and so on, I can see how this is what would be recorded.

All I can say at that is that, using similar web pages and applications, I've never seen a problem like that.  Could you describe what kind of application you're testing, the kinds of components you're using, etc?
  • Hi,

What exact OS are you using? There were problems on multi-core CPUs before XP SP3 - events were processed incorrectly on recording because of OS specifics.
