Not able to recognize embedded browser Object

Hi,



Scenario: I am currently using Test Complete version 9.0. My application is a thick client desktop application in C++. It has a embedded browser object (IE).



Issue: Test Complete is unable to recognize the objects in the embedded browser object using their properties. Instead, the objects are accessible using coordinates which is not a reliable approach. Is there a way we can acheive the same ?

    What browser control is used in your application? You can check it in TestComplete's Object Browser via the ClassName property.

    Hi Tanya,



    ClassName property value is ""TWebBrowser"". When is record any action on this object, i get the following string :



    "tabBrowse.pcAddresses.browse<AppName>.BrowseAppFrame.Panel1.WebBrowse.ShellDocObjectView.InternetExplorerServer.Click(306, 127)".
