I am trying to record an action that requires clicking on a link in the page. It recorded all the steps and all the link clicks up to that part, but that specific step it will not record and I am not sure why.
Any thoughts? I am very new to Test Complete, so I don't even know what to check for.

I suggest you use the Object Spy tool to see what properties are exposed for that UI object, as it might not be a URL link.

Thank you for responding, I had done both of those before I posted this. All the suggestions and info I learned did not help. So that is why I am baffled.

I can see in the Object Browser, the property value of Name is Link(0), which implies it is an actual link.
I can also see the the object is already mapped to,
you need to verify the property values of your mapped object correspond to the UI object - check each mapped object.
