Not Able to Activate license via trial key

Hello All



I am unable to activate the testcomplete trial activation via the trial license key provided into the mail .



Whenever i try to activate the trial version , i always get the same error message appearing onto my window , which i pasted the snapshot with this edit



Please have a look at the attached snapshot , and let me know what exactly can be done in order to resolve this kind of problem



I am using the testcomplete trial version onto the remote machines , i installed it onto the remote machine and using there only , when using locally , its running perfectly for 30 days without any kind of issue.



Now to describe the remote machine it is somewhat like a cloud service.



Earlier it was running fine without any kind of issues , but from the past couple of days or so, it is throwing the same kind of error again and again .



Please try to help me as soon as possible as my work in hindering a lot due to this

  • I am having the same problem. Activation fails in step 3 of 4. When I try manual activation, I get an error on their website, just by going to the URL https://my.smartbear.com/manual-license-activation. Screenshots attached. Ugh.

    We had unexpected technical problems with our License Server starting approximately on Friday last week. Our Team have been working very hard over the weekend to bring the server back to life, and we fixed the problem on Sunday.





    Now, the server is working normally, and our clients should not have any problems with license-related activities. So, please try following the procedure one more time.

    This error means that you activated the TestComplete trial on one computer too many times. The product licensing system blocks this.


    Contact your Sales Rep to learn how to activate the trial.
