Hi Steph,
I think you will need to use some third-party tool to wake up your computer from the Sleep mode.
Also, the following article can help you:

Thank you Tanya
Yup we are trying the old "Remote Desktop to a remote desktop to the desktop" trick now.
The real solution, it seems, is to just pony up for a VM license and I can just keep the test
running in a secured environment. Working on that too.
Thank you again :)

Here's the solution we are going to try.:robothappy:
The machine running the automation cannot be locked.
So the solution is ...
QAComplete and TestComplete are both on my desktop in my home office.
At the time of the scheduled test, the home office desktop will be locked.
Another desktop in my office will be running Test Execute and not be logged off.
In the wee hours of the morning QAComplete will kick off the scheduled test which
will be executed by the logged on Test Execute desktop.
My IT guys really want all tests to be 'unattended' and locked.
From your reference Locked Computer since I have GUI tests the desktop cannot be locked.
Think this will work before I acquire another desktop?
Thanks
Steph :womanvery-happy:
