Firefox crashing and not able to identify flash objects on firefox
Hi,
I am a licensed user of TestComplete. I am working on automating Flash/Flex application. I am able to successfully identify flash objects on IE and Chrome browser.
But when I try to work with Firefox and use Object Spy on flash objects on Firefox, Firefox mostly crashes (Not responding).
I have done all the below mentioned configurations required to identify flash objects on firefox :
1. Downloaded Firefox patch from test complete website for latest Firefox version (31) - http://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/firefox-patches/
2. Installed debug version of flash.
3. Configured the browser for following things as mentioned in the link - http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/62801/#FF
o Making Firefox Plug-Ins Run In-Process
o Disabling Flash Player’s Protected Mode
Sometimes I am able to identify flash objects on firefox with these configurations but most of the time I get the message " .swf file is not prepared for testing".
Can you please take a look and suggest what can I do to record and play scripts on flash objects in firefox successfully everytime.
Test Complete version - 10.10.752
Firefox version - 31
