Does WebAudits work on websites that require log on?

I get an error when I use the webaudit on a url after you log on to the website. Has anybody used this functionality of figured out how it works. On replay, a 2nd webpage presents and tries to run the audit on the none logged on page (resulting in an error).

I would put a really long Delay (like a minute or two) after clicking the homepage link and see if that helps.  It could be that the page hasn't finished loading when TC is ready to go to the audit.

If that fixes it, then you can lower the Delay until it breaks again and set the Delay just past that point or you can use a Wait for the page.

  • 1)Is this the sequence of what's happening?

    login

    web page loads

    WebAudit runs but gives error

    2) What's the error?

      The sequence is :

      log on

      webpage presents

      Click homepage link

      webaudit of webpage url

      log off

Upon replay I get an error on webaudit execution:

Error: Lighthouse was unable to reliably load the page you requested. Make sure you are testing the correct URL and that the server is properly responding to all requests. (Status code: 404)

      Error code: ERRORED_DOCUMENT_REQUEST
