Does TestComplete 11.31 really works with Firefox 46?

Hi Does TestComplete 11.31 really works with Firefox 46 (yes, I used the patch)? I have no recognition in Object Browser even after a new installation of TestComplete. Any luck out there? Thanx!

    I DON'T BELIEVE IT !!!

    YOU ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!

     

    It turns out that our tool IZArc (v. 4.1.6) is not capable to drag and drop correctly from shown directory tree :smileysurprised: !

    After I extracted the whole zip file in a temporary directory and copied from there ... it works just fine!

    I will immediately tell this our IT services.

Ok, then make sure you placed files from the patch to right places.

I can see that there are several files that must be copied to different TestComplete sub-folders.

      Something strange is going on...
      I tried for hours (does anybody pay me for this ;-) and found out:
      - A new installation of TC 11.31 does not work (even with FF 45.0.2) for me. Only an update from TC 11.30 (with patch FF 45) to TC 11.31 works with FF 45.0.2.
      - Then I did an update from FF 45.0.2 to FF 46.0 and installed the FF 46.0 patch from https://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/firefox-patches/ and it does not work for me again!

      Sorry folks but i think TC 11.31 (with patch) and FF 46.0 does not work for anybody with the current provided software ...

        Maybe your system blocks modules downloaded from Internet?

        Find patch modules that you copied to TestComplete folder (let's say tcFF46Hook.dll), open its Properties via context menu (right mouse click), and if the file is blocked you will see the Unblock button at the bottom of the window. Click on it for every file from the patch and check whether it will help.
