Does TestComplete 11.31 really works with Firefox 46?

Hi Does TestComplete 11.31 really works with Firefox 46 (yes, I used the patch)? I have no recognition in Object Browser even after a new installation of TestComplete. Any luck out there? Thanx!

    I DON'T BELIEVE IT !!!

    YOU ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!

     

    It turns out that our tool IZArc (v. 4.1.6) is not capable to drag and drop correctly from shown directory tree :smileysurprised: !

    After I extracted the whole zip file in a temporary directory and copied from there ... it works just fine!

    I will immediately tell this our IT services.

I installed Firefox 46 patch using "Help | Check for updates" menu in TestComplete and it seems to work fine.

What do you see in Object Browser for firefox.exe process? Was it recognized as Browser("firefox")? What child objects does it have?

Also check whether you are really using the release version of Firefox 46. The firefox.exe version must be 46.0.0.5955.

    Hi

    Check for updates does not work for me. I always get an error message that I'm not connected to the internet what is not true. So I installed from https://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/firefox-patches.

    Firefox version is 46.0.0.5955 and is not recognized as Browser("firefox") but Process("firefox").

      Ok, then make sure you placed files from the patch to right places.

      I can see that there are several files that must be copied to different TestComplete sub-folders.

        I already checked and did it again more than once...
