I had a version of test complete. I downloaded the newer version (12.41 - 12.42).
During installation it hanged and machine crashed.
Now it does not appear in windows uninstaller. I try to run the 12.42 .exe and get the following error. Really need help with this as its on my work machine
Reinstalled windows and now it works.
Have you tried restoring windows to a previous save point?
Restore points are not switched on and locked down on works machines so cannot set this up
Surely this is a problem with the installer? It unpacks the .msi and files and when it tries to load the unpacked dll it errors?
Desperate for a fix for this. Never seen a program get itself into this mess before
If the machine is locked down hard by your company, it's possible that a virus or malware scanner did not like what it saw and blew things up.
