Chrome not being recognized by test complete after the update- Version: 15.51.18.7 (sys.browser)

Hi There,

 

I initiated an update of TestComplete and now after the update, i am unable to execute my scripts.

The error message says as follows:

Unable to find the object Sys.Browser("chrome"). See Details for additional information.

 

In the object Browser - Chrome process does not appear- where as i can see Firefox and edge processes.

Can some one get me a fix for this issue.

    What version of Testcomplete and Chrome are you using?

      Currently( not working)

      Chrome Version - 113.0.5672.64

      Test Complete Version - Version: 15.51.18.7

       

      Prior to this i was using (was working) and still working for my team

      Chrome Version- 112.0.5615.138 

      Test Complete Version - 15.51.4.7

        Issue resolved after an uninstall of Test Complete and downgrading Chrome version.

        Not sure what the issue was - Now working fine.

    My Chrome version is 113.0.5672.127

    This version works for me, maybe try updating?

     

    If that doesn't works I would try Smart-Bear support
