Can I install or deploy TestComplete as an appvolume or xenapp app?
I'm evaluating TestComplete as an automated functional testing tool.
Our desktop are VMware View virtual desktops. Can I install TestComplete as an appvolume or xenapp application and then record and playback test cases with other apps on the virtual desktop?
Hi,
a) TestComplete must be installed and executed on the same machine where the tested application is running;
b) TestComplete can be installed on the virtual machines, but the use of Floating license is highly recommended in order to avoid licence locking due to changed hardware parameters;
c) TestExecute may be considered as tests execution runtime to lower the licenses cost.
