Hi,
Thanks for mentioning my blog nmrao, but I don't think I have created any posts related to this issue?
On the other hand, I do run SoapUI on a Mac most of the time and I have only ever had crash/hangs when running security tests - seemed to be memory related, I think I upped the Xmx allocation.
I am happy to compare specs in case that helps. I have two macbook pro laptops, the current one I'm using is:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro11,3
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.3 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 16 GB
I also have an older 2009 Mac book pro (8Gb, core duo, whith el capitan running on it)
SoapUI 5.2.1 (standard settings) and as a developer SoapUI 5.2.2-SNAPSHOT (i run it with maven)
JDK 1.7.0_79
Hope this helps,
Rupert

rupert_anderson,
I remember there was a thread related this sometime ago.
Just searched for the same now, and referring the below one, which was around the same problem, I guess.
https://community.smartbear.com/t5/SoapUI-Open-Source/Failed-to-load-class-quot-org-slf4j-impl-StaticLoggerBinder-quot/m-p/115540/highlight/true#M19964Also found another thread around the same error from existing topics :

Hi Rao,
Oh, now I see what you mean! Sorry! I really only considered the initial post and crash / mac parts!
As for the SLF4J: Failed to load class “org.slf4j.impl.StaticLoggerBinder, this isn't necessarily that serious in crash terms, it just results in the potential for some lost log messages - it is covered in my blog post at:
Thanks,
Rupert
