Patch to 9.8.1 Update Intoduces New Issues

I have users who report the following issues:

* Inability to save data to tests that were paused and continued

* Inability to save data to newly created tests

* Inability for a user to continue a test that was paused by a different user

* Screen load freeze when clicking on folders

* Screen load freeze when clicking on the Defects tab

* Inability to login, never authenticates

* Browser locks up

I would highly recommend not installing this patch if you have 9.8.1 installed.  The issues here seem worse than the occassional 500 error and subsequent potential data loss (which is pretty bad in itself)

    There is a follow on change dealing with DLL files which resolves the testing issue.  That seems to have resolved the problem with testers being able to save data or pass tests.

    You will also need to have them walk you through the .NET4 framework upgrade, to resolve the problem with the support manager urls throwing 404s

    We received and the upgrade to 9.8.1 and completed it .  We had a sporatic 500 error and received a fix that included the DDL fix.  I am checking with my webadmin to see if we also did the .NET4 framework upgrade.

    We are experiencing issues when saving test runs.  The response time is slow and we also expericence a pop-up error when saving a test run. Sometimes the error happens, other times not.  It is very frustrationg.   The error is server not available.  Did you see this error after the upgrade?  We have not had QAComplete deployed to Production yet and this is one of the errors we are getting .  DBA did a trace on DB and did not see anything.  Webadmin saw the error below:

    I dont use the test feature personally, so I cant speak to those specific errors.  I would suggest using Jing to record a user session, capturing the error pop up, and then attach that video file to a new support ticket.

    You can create a support ticket by clicking the "Help Center" link, and then the "Create Support Ticket" link.
