Im using a "FindChildByXPath" where the expression have an apostrophe object.FindChildByXPath("//div[text()='XY'Z']"); I tried the solution in previous forum -https://community.smartbear.com/t5/TestComplete-Functional-Web/Using-FindChildByXPath-with-apostrophe-in-XPath/td-p/116018 Unfortunately that doesnt work.Solved1.4KViews0likes2CommentsSimulating Chrome Hard reload

Justin, A requirement is how it should handle when an error or unstable show up runing a project, heres a pseudo code sample: sample 1: stage('Prequisite project') { TestComplete@project1 if (unstable) create jira } stage ('Run project2') { TestComplete@project2 if (error) stop } //...so on running other project thru TC The idea is i need to get the result of each individual project run not as a single build, succeeding action will base on the result of each run. Also i tried to supply the /export summary but its not working, heres how it look like: testcompletetest actionOnErrors: 'MAKE_FAILED', actionOnWarnings: 'MAKE_UNSTABLE', commandLineArguments: '/exportSummary:"C:\\Jenkins\\Result\\Result.xml', generateMHT: true, launchType: 'lcProject', project: 'Project1', suite: '../../Suit.pjs', useTCService: true, userName: 'admin', userPassword: '1234' this is not creating a result on the specified path Did i miss something here or is there a better way to handle it?4KViews0likes3CommentsJenkins exit code result
im using TC plugin thur pipeline running in interactive mode, my setup is i run a series of project. I need to get the result of each project run by getting the exit code on each project that run do make additional steps depend on the requirement. I used the /exportSummary to try to parse the result but for some reason this is not working.4.1KViews0likes5CommentsFinding object getting slow
i have an extension which input data from a combo box and part of the routine is to find the dropdown object which only show on DOM after first dropdown, this is the snippet code: pickerMenu = page.find("idStr",pickerMenuId,1); as you can see i have define the depth to 1 as i know it will alwas shown on that depth. It run fast initially but after some time it getting slower from initial 0.2 to 17 seconds after 20 minutes. Im monitoring the CPU and memory usage and it shows below 100% most of the time. I made a routine to refresh the browser to remove some object on the DOM but it still persist, i need to make the performance consistent with same routine over long run.1.6KViews0likes2CommentsExtension using Debug mode
Just an idiot question, is using extension on debug mode slower compare when its compiled as .tcx file. The reason i did this is for faster deployment where other machine can just reload the extension on a shared location. I just wondering if it has significant effect on performance.1.3KViews0likes1CommentRe: Parameter Default File location
I apologize for not making it clear. It's not the extension itself but rather the default path file path when using File type parameter. here's a screenshot: As you can see it open the file dialog in Desktop, in our project we need it to open in a certain path preferably something that can setup on project.1.5KViews0likes1Comment
