Using a script within the same suite but in a different project

I have a script I wrote in one project that I want in all other projects within the same suite. 

The script does use name mapping items. Adding the script to another project via Add -> Existing project works but the project doesn't have the object mappings so it fails.

Other than merging Name Mapping files, is there any other way to do this? I'm thinking not but wanted to check with the community.

You wouldn't need to merge the whole NameMapping file. You could just add the object(s) for that additional test to each NameMapping.

Do you mean just go into the other project's Name Mapping and select Add Object and add them that way?

Or is there way to export/merge specific objects from one name mapping into another?

You would need to use the Add Object on each individual Name Mapping. The Merge function is all or nothing.
