Why automate?  I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy.  Sleep is a requirement.  So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.
I love good food, good books, good friends, and good fun.

couple months back I did the POC the Lighting page using TC to my team. But I didnot have good experience with Test Complete in object identification. Took long time to identify the object. I need to change the path in the Name mapping for each and every object to make it work. Also has some issues to identify the  objects too. Now I am at  the point where I need to start script. Is there any documentation for setting or  tips  for such kind of applications?

I am using TC12.60

 Really appricate your help

Any web page provides nothing but HTML markup. Thus testing principles remain the same.

The problem arizes when this markup has a poor semantics which complicates fast and reliable web element search on the page. But this is specific to your given page and must be considered by you.

TestComplete 12.60 was enchanced with the functionality to use custom attributes of web page elements - Check if this can be of any use for you.

What exect problem do you have? Can you provide an example (of page markup, Object Browser, anything else that can help to understand the problem) ?
