How to select an object from tree sructure view

Hi.. I has to select an object from the tree view structure which is a java script tree view plugin. Object spy is highlighting for the entire frame instead of a single object in a tree. Can anyone give me a solution.

Thanks & Regards,

Veena.

Re: How to select an object from tree sructure view

As far as i know, Your object should be a customized treeview control which TestComplete to go depth to spy the child tree nodes Or for some of the tree TestComplete only recognize the top level object not in depth

You can follow the below mentioned link on the documentation of  JavaFx treeview support and  JavaFx Tree view methods

  1. https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/reference/test-objects/controls/desktop/java-fx/tree...
  2. https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/reference/test-objects/controls/desktop/java-fx/tree...

In some cases, Even though Java full class name added in the Object mapping you won't be able to get the accessible functions.

Try to see additional methods for the particular object, Development may have some customized properties for treeview control.
