Reviewer gets e-mail prompting for defect fixes.

Reviewer gets e-mail prompting for defect fixes.

In Collaborator 9.2, we have a user who is on a document review as a reviewer indicating he is getting notification e-mails that should be going to the author.  Here is content from the e-mail:

Subject: [Code Collaborator] Review #xxxx: "Design document for New Feature" is currently stalled waiting for John Smith

Review #xxxx has defects that need to be fixed by John Smith and verified before the review can complete.

Why would a reviewer get prompted that he is holding up a review because he has not fixed defects.

I have the same question.  Can someone from Smartbear please answer?  I'm on Version 10.0.10000.

Thanks!

Re: Reviewer gets e-mail prompting for defect fixes.

Hello stuavg1 and MaryConti,

This email notification is correct. There are 2 separate notifications when a review is in that state. One notification is sent to the entire review list and the other is sent to the author.

List Review Stalled Author Not Reworking – to the Notification List – The review is currently stalled, because there are defects that need to be fixed and verified before the review can be Completed.

Review Stalled Author Not Reworking – to the author – The review is stalled. There are defects that the author needs to fix before the review can go back to the Verification phase.

Please see the article below, it describes each notification template:

Re: Reviewer gets e-mail prompting for defect fixes.

Sorry, I think this is still a problem.   Either the template is wrong or it's being sent to the wrong people.

It seems like SB is sending the message "List Review Stalled Author Not Reworking" to everyone participating in a review, when a review is stalled.   But the template is:

Review #${review.id} has defects that need to be fixed by ${user.name} and verified before the review can complete.

where ${user.name} is not the author, but the person getting the email.   So all inspectors get an emailing telling them they they, as inspectors, need to fix bugs...     (This is collaborator 11.5.11504)
