- Hi Raz,
The current version of TestComplete does not provide features for mobile applications testing. However, automating testing on mobile devices is a strategic direction for SmartBear. We'd like to learn more about testing requirements pertinent for your specific application and needs. The best course we can suggest is to contact your sales representative directly, or use Contact Us form on the SmartBear web site, www.smartbear.com. - npoirierNew ContributorHi Allen,
Do you have news about the testing of mobile applications (Android, IOS) with TestComplete? I saw that TestComplete can test applications in HTML5 but we have native applications ... Your competitors for a while now begin to provide plugin to test mobile applications on Android, IOS or windows phone. Does SmartBear will jump in and provide its customers happy opportunities to automate mobile applications? I look forward to these opportunities.
Best Regards,

yes, mobile testing under TestComplete is a work in progress at this point.
We found it to be of great value to talk to customers about specifics of their mobile testing needs.
Would you be open to such a conversation?
You could email me directly at sergei dot sokolov at smartbear dot com.
Regards, - Hey,
I have been trying different automated testing tools recently for the company I am at, and TestComplete is the best for our needs thus far, but we're looking to be able to test Android and iOS devices as well.
Having read this thread it's great to see that you have mobile testing for Android and iOS in development, but what do you plan to include? E.G local devices or a cloud system? And will I be able to test HTML5 on the mobile devices web browsers?
Any feedback is appreciated!

Even I am interested to know if iOS and Android support would be given by TestComplete.
Having another tool for testing our iOS apps and TestComplete for desktop app does not make sense to justify the investment.- akuczkowskiContributorHi,
I just wanted to add my voice as a current TestComplete customer that has a need for both iOS and Android testing. I don't have any specific requirements but would hope the iOS and Andriod support would work seamlessly with our current Windows and Browser scripts. We would be testing both phones and tablets, but I assume that difference wouldn't matter.
Thanks,

Hi Team,
Thanks everyone for your votes! The SmartBear TestComplete team is currently in the middle of implementing support for testing Android and iOS apps.
We cannot share time estimates of its release on a public forum, hopefully you will understand the reason.
We love to stay in touch with our users. If you could share specifics of your test requirements we’d be very interested to discuss this so that our mobile test automation solution includes the right functionality to support your specific situation (if possible).
You may use a Contact Us form on our Web site, or contact our product owner directly at sergei dot sokolov at smartbear dot com.
- fayrehouseFrequent ContributorI trust anything SmartBear is working on will support both Native and Hybrid apps?
Also, as per someone else's comment - will it work based on connection to physical device? Emulator/Simulator? Cloud?
Experitest's SeeTest is already out there for TestComplete. I'm sure I'm not the only one that could do with some sort of indication from SmartBear as to what is coming and when, to help decide whether to wait, or go with Experitest.
