web UI element has no mapped name

A certain UI element in a webpage has no mappedname when grabbed by object spy tool. The object is mapped and already assigned an alias. The extended find checkbox is also not checked. When I right clicked and Highlight on Screen on both the alias and mapped name, the UI element in question got highlighted correctly with no problem. So why didn't it have mappedname when object spy tool grabbed it?

    Can you clarify the exact behavior you observe? By what properties is your object mapped and what values of these properties are displayed when you grab it? If you highlight this object from name mapping editor and then immediately grab it, do the same thing occur? What do you see if you find this object in the Object Browser without grabbing it and check its properties?



    Also, does "has no mappedname" mean that the MappedName property value is empty or does it mean something else? Can you describe this in detail and post here some screenshots which could demonstrate what happens?
