I was hoping that would be true, but I found that it wasn't reliable. I ran many tests and I discovered that if I tried to click on an unseen link it would either work OK or it would cause the list pop-up window to close. I have no idea why that would be. But, I always got a "good click" if the link was actually visible.
I'm going to loop and scroll the list and check that the TOP property lies between certain values to ensure that the link is actually visible.
