View Logs Outside of TC

Is there any way to view logs outside of TC? Our logs are getting too large to keep in the 'Log' directory as part of our regular backup and we don't want to lose the testing history. I would like to move the log folders somewhere else but can't figure out how to open from Window's file explorer. Exporting individual log files to mht file is far too slow because they must be done one.....by......one and named individually. Removing (not deleting) and re-adding logs can also be done one...by....one. Smells of a feature request to me. Hopefully someone has figured out a way to view log

      Hi Keith ,

Many years ago, there was an article in our Blog about a free log viewer for TestComplete:

      http://blog.smartbear.com/automated-testing-tools/free-testcomplete-log-viewer-utility-from-motoo-yasui/

I don’t know if it works for the latest TestComplete version, as the log format could be changed. As far as I see, the tool was posted with the source code. Perhaps, you could modify the code, and make the tool work for your needs.

The log viewer doesn't appear to work.

I second William's suggestion for this feature. We have built in to our tests to save a copy of the log when the test is done so that we can link to them from a notification email. But that results in 2 copies of the log file. Not to mention that if there is an exception of some kind, that isn't included in the scripted save (because the exception is written after OnStopTest is executed). I've looked at that utility to view the log files, but it's appears to be severely out of date and I don't have the time/capability to modify it to work.

It would be spectacular if TC would natively support outputting the log file in a readable format.
