Just wanted to let you know that I made some time and did a bit of testing. When I first tried the 8.5(now 8.7) version, I had specific places where my app would lock up or crash. That did not seem to happen this time so that looked good. I could not completely test then or now though because there were and seem to be issues with the way the Object Browser sees my app. It sees the objects differently than before so my tests 'break' in many different places. Because of this, I have not been able to test 8.7 very thoroughly.
Stephanie, I saw similar 'slowness'. I saw in my tests windows taking along time to find button objects and click them (i.e. 'OK', 'Cancel'). This seemed to be on dialog/message windows. They would eventually do what they were supposed to but it took quite a long time. This could also be due to the Namemapping and Object Browser issues that I saw though. I was able to run a small test a few times using 8.2 and 8.7 and saw some major time differences.
I sent in more info to Support so will be waiting to hear back from them. I just wanted to let you know that I ran into some things as well and see if you have found out anything else yourselves. I need to figure out the Object Browser/Namemapping issue before I can do any further testing but will let you know if I run into anything else.
