Using Aliases in scripting

Hi there,Can anyone please advise how reliable is using Aliases (paths) in Scripting ? Noticed that Test complete fails to find Alias paths in some cases, not sure why.Is this the best practice, creating aliases for available objects and use them directly in code ? Please advise.Regards,Raj

Using Aliases is very reliable. If TC unable to find the object, kindly check whether you are able to highlight the same from namemapping window or not. if not, check for the properties added.Always select the check box to find the object at any level of name mapping and put the object in conditional mode.
