Chrome sometimes fails to load a page.
It is horrible, sometimes it works perfectly well, sometimes not! Our test is real crap now as really often the test does not work as the URL is not loaded.
Win10
Chrome 48
TestExecute 11.20
Info is this:
Process Command Line: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --disable-hang-monitor
Info: Cannot find any existing or open blank page.- AlexKaras9 years agoChampion Level 3
Hi,
> Info: Cannot find any existing or open blank page.
When I've met this error Chrome was running without user interface. This might happen if:
a) Chrome is allowed to run in background - this must be disabled on the test machine;
b) Chrome was commanded to close but had not time to close yet - test must wait until the corresponding Chrome process exists in the system;
c) Chrome process stuck in the background - in this case process must be terminated.

I adjusted my test and the systems the test is run on.
- Chrome no longer allowed in background
- Chrome always terminated correctly
The problem still occurrs sometimes. And I do not really have any clue what the problem is.
I assume that is some problem related to TestExecute not working properly with Windows 10. (like the explorer-process crashing all the time)
Some questions
1) I terminate the browser like this: Aliases.browser.BrowserWindow.Close(30000);
> Is there any better method?
2) how do you check if Chrome was closed and does not have time to close yet?
As far as I see this is not the problem that I have, but how do you check this? (I just check if there still is a process active)
3) any other ideas or has anyone similar problems?
This really hurts as our otherwise really stable test is crap now...
