I found that if you start chrome using: chrome.exe --force-renderer-accessibility It's possible to access most html elements using MSAA *

Hi Robert,
Though using MSAA may be a workaround, it's not easy to create web tests with MSAA, when compared to using built-in browser support in TestComplete.
We are already working to implement support for Firefox 7, and expect it to be a part of the next TestComplete update (if everything goes as expected).
