Take the examples from either my link or Tanya's link to build a "mytimer" routine that tracks elapsed time. In your case it would apply something like this:
set mytimer = now
launch application
log "launch application time = " mytimer
set mytimer = now
login
log "login time = " mytimer
set mytimer = now
create project
log "create project time = " mytimer
set mytimer = now
signout
log "signout time = " mytimer
