Testing Chinese characters

Hi,


I have a question regarding, test complete support regarding Chinese or japanese characters. Does Test complete 7.5 support them?


Im currently trying to copy a chinese character using:



sys.clipboard = "甲骨文"

Log.message Sys.clipboard



in teh log i could see ??? instead of characters. Im using VBscript. I havent changed teh language settings in my machien, im just trying to copy and paste these characters on english.



Could any one help me in this regards?

    Hello,



    Yes, I have tried the steps mentioned in your given link, but I am using Win7 (64 Bit) OS to perform test. So I have changed the relevant windows settings as well. But didn't worked.



    Now, I have define the same method in .net dll and access the same in testcomplete. It successfully gives me correct strings with correct letters, but now I am not able to open these files using fullname (including path) in my test application. For that I have submitted a different support request (ID: M0086876). Kindly see the issue reported and reply.
