Testing Chinese characters

I am experiencing the same issue:



Summary of steps:



Working on WIN7 64 bit OS and have some file with Chienese / Japanese character names. I have made a routine to read the file name and store in a array in ODT.



Whenever I am done with reading the file names and I see (??) instead of chienese / japanese character in file names.



I have studied the support link mentioning changing script character encoding to UTF-16 and changing system language to chienese or japenese. But didn't help in my case. 



Kindly help!
