TestComplite Speed Test - JScript vs. Python

Just for lulz...

 

I ran one test on JScript and then on Python. JScript is 2.5x faster! I am crying because I love Python so much, and I don't want to refactor all of my scripts. But the speed gain is very attractive. :) 

 

All above is valid for Mobile module and iOS application.

    Hi Baxatob,

     

    Are you using TestComplete 11.20? I’ve heard about some performance issue in Python in this product version. Our R&D Team has recently prepared a patch to fix this issue. If you haven’t applied it, I recommend that you contact our TestComplete Support Team to request it.

      Yes, I am using 11.20

       

      Thank you very much for your suggestion, I will request the patch immediately.
