The SmartBear Community is moving to a new platform, Discourse, after 21 October 2026. The address stays the same: community.smartbear.com.
After 21 October 2026. During the switch, the current community will be read-only for a short time from 19th Oct 2026.
Yes. Accounts don't carry over, so you'll sign up once on the new community using your SmartBear ID (SSO).
Popular and recent discussions and top knowledge base articles move over, with their accepted solutions and original author credit.
Links to popular threads and articles redirect to their new pages. Links to recent discussions don't; they go to the community homepage, so search for those threads by title or by #latest tag .
Content that isn't migrated won't be available after the switch. Before 21 October 2026, you can export all your content and profile information from the current community.
Everyone starts fresh. You'll earn badges and trust levels as you take part, and Champions keep their Champion recognition.
Champions keep their recognition and help moderate the new community. They join the Champions group by invite.
Yes. Our current community will be read-only from 19 Oct 2026 until the new community opens on 21 Oct 2026. During that time you can browse and search for your queries, but you can’t post or reply. In the meantime:
