TestComplete problem in module tcRTL.bpl

Hi, 

 

I just updated to testComplete 12.40 and can not run any test.  I got this pop up error.

    I had a similar problem on my Windows 10 box when I did the auto-update. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling TC 12.40.  I have support cases open for this but this work around seemed to help.

  • I had the same problem.

     

    Re-installing worked for me.

     

    I closed my support ticket but now I am curious about root cause seeing how you guys got the err also.

      I did try to reinstall twice but still did not solve the issue

    Hi,

     

    Were you able to find a solution to this? We are currently getting the same error.

     

    ps. I am able to run some tests, the error only came up when I hit the stop button midway through a test.

      Uninstall and re-install.  From what I can figure, it seems to be something that didn't get processed correctly with the auto-update done via the TestComplete tool itself.  A re-install fixed it.

        reinstall doesn't fix this issue on my local, any other update?
