TestComplete not recognizing Dev Express Controls in Winforms

when I run the winforms application through visual studio, TestComplete recognizes all the objects in Winforms. When I run the same winforms application through exe file, TestComplete does not recognize the controls. controls are not recognized when the test complete launches the application
