TestComplete 9.0 is now available

Greetings
All!

Today we have released TestComplete 9.0, a new major release of our powerful
test automation product.

It packs a lot of new features and enhancements, the most important of which
are:

  • We
made cross-browser testing easy for Chrome, Firefox, and Internet
Explorer. TestComplete 9 includes a new set of Web specific operations and
    objects that make tests browser-independent.

  • We made HTML5 testing possible and easy. TC9 includes a set of objects that wrap new HTML5 elements, such as audio, video, article, header, etc. and allow direct access to their methods and properties in the object tree.

  • We updated our supported controls and technologies list with Silverlight 5 (32/64 bits), new set of Flex 4.6 controls, jQuery, GWT, Yahoo! UI, MooTools, new versions of grids from Developer Express and Syncfusion, and more

  • We now support the latest Embarcadero RAD Studio XE2 including 64 bit Delphi apps

You can read and learn more about the new release here:

Customers on maintenance are provided with a transition path from TestComplete 8 to TestComplete 9 that includes free temporary usage of complimentary licenses to assist in converting and verifying existing testsuites. The import and conversion of old test projects from TestComplete 8 is automatic.

Please note that HTTP Load Testing is no longer available in TestComplete 9. The load testing data from the previous version's projects will be discarded during project conversion. For more information on SmartBear load testing solutions, please visit this page.

We are really excited to deliver this release to our user community, and we would love to hear your feedback on the new features and updates. Please write to us on forums and visit the SmartBear Support Portal if you need assistance.

My company was trying to use MSSCCI interfaces to Subversion and did not succeed.  At the time (TestComplete version 8.7) AutomatedQA informed us to perform the SVN operations manually.  That was still fraught with error and instability.

Now TC 9 says it integrates with CollabNet Subversion.  Does documentation about using Subversion and how it integrates with TestComplete exist?
