Thank you for the answer.
It is TC3, now we need to test some Win x64 apps.
We have tc 2008 but did not use it actively.
That is why my question.
Ok,
1. Can TC 2008 be used to test x64 apps? i.e. does it "understand" x64?
2. The same about TC 2008 and WPF apps: can we use the TC2008 for WPF apps testing ?
Yet another question:
Can we somehow upgrade to TC 12 if we already have the licenses for TC 3 and TC 8?
Thank you!
Rather than referencing the version by year, could you give the actual version number (Help | About)?
Once you know that, you can check the version history (http://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/general-info/version-history/index.html) to see what support has been added to which versions.
As for upgrading to TC 12... that's a question for the SmartBear sales folks. Contact their sales team and they should be able to help you with that question.

We have licensed TC 3.12 and TC 8.7.

The link I posted above gives links to the version history for all versions of TestComplete. Please go through those and you'll find when WPF support was added and where 64 bit application support was added.
Honestly, it would be my recommnedation to upgrade to TC 12.30... it is certainly worth it.
